      Job Description

    Employees in this role use IBM Software and Systems to deliver technical expertise and resources to IBM Business Partners as they integrate IBM middle ware in their application solutions by:

  •  Advising on architecture design and implementation techniques;
  • Delivering detailed development level education and awareness activities on new IBM products and technologies; Developing technical collateral content including presentations, hands-on labs, and white papers. 
  • Employees in this role use IBM Software and Systems to deliver technical expertise and resources to IBM Business Partners as they integrate IBM middleware in their application solutions by:
  • Advising on architecture design and implementation techniques; Creating customized development and test environments;

           Responsibilities 

  • Prototype and develop solutions that features IBM software that may involve collaboration with Business Partners.
  •  Assist with the integration of IBM product components with applications being developed by Business Partners for successful solutions. In a large number of situations, multiple products and platforms are involved in the integration effort.
  • Provide in-depth technical assessment, education, guidance, and advice to Business Partners and Clients who are evaluating and testing IBM software.
  • Execute problem determination/problem source isolation methodologies to resolve complex technical issues encountered by Business Partners.
  • Assist with the gathering and analysis of information required by IBM Technical support to resolve product defects.
  • Provide additional assistance to Business Partners during their solution deployment.
  • Participate in technical developer awareness activities such as demonstrations,   presentations, and hands-on labs at events such as conferences, seminars, user groups.
  • Provide detailed development level education on IBM products to Business Partners at locations around the world, either on site at Business Partners locations, or at an IBM facility.
  • Develop technical collateral such as white papers, tutorials, how-to guides, and sample code for use by Business Partner developers who are creating solutions with IBM.

          Qualifications

  •  Experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows. A Strong Linux skill is preferred.
  • Knowledge of programming languages with a proficiency using a programming language.
           Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years experience in  IBM Software and Systems to deliver technical expertise
  •  English: Fluent
  •  Strong analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Exposure in handling project management.
